Hi All,
I was successfully able to upgrade my RAM from 16GB(1slot) to 32GB(2 x 16GB) DDR4. I am using windows 11 with i7 10th gen in HP Pavilion x360 - 14-dh1026tx.
everything is working smoothly without any issues. I’m a programmer so I use eclipse, IntelliJ and visual studio code at the same time. The videos like Netflix, prime video, hotstar and many other OTT video rendering is as smooth as it can be. I am also using laptop to connect to my external 4K monitor and the rendering is as expected.
got the Samsung ddr sodim 16GB RAM.
the only change I did is to increase the physical memory in the performance window.
Thanks
Darshan.

Yes, the manual says otherwise and even the HP call center says RAM cannot be upgradable.
And I went with 3200 sodimm 16GB RAM upgrade. So, the 2600MHz should also work.
here is the purchase link:
16GB DDR4 3200MHz SODIMM... https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08QR2YGKX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

hi
cool
unless I am mistaken the manual is not the right one here ..
https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-14-dh1000-convertible-x360-pc-series/29126777/model...
so no way to know what is possible or not
it may help other users, who would like to do the same
if you could add the exact reference of the purchased module...
thank you

Hi, @djain150990
According to the Crucial memory report for your notebook, it can support up to 2 x 32 GB of DDR4-2666 Mhz memory.
HP - Compaq Pavilion x360 14-dh1026tx | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial IN
I doubt you need that much, but if you want to install another 16 GB memory chip in the empty slot, that should be fine and this is the one from the report that I recommend.
It will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz.
Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA32A | Crucial IN
You can also do this to see how much memory your notebook can actuallhy support:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

yes, user @djain150990 indicated here that it was already successfully done @Paul_Tikkanen

I can read.
No need to let me know what I already knew.
...and I replied to the question before his last answer.

Hello Paul,
I think you got it wrong. I have already install the extra 16GB RAM with 3200MHz from Samsung. And my post was just an FYI that the upgrade is possible. All this information was presented in my 1st post itself.
and your reply to it was something which is already known. And that’s what Promethee is inferring.
Basically, your posts is creating confusion..

Thanks for the recommendation but I already know this but I wouldn’t go with crucial report. My laptop manufacturer is HP and that manual says it cannot be upgradable. Which is misleading.
And hence, I wrote this post to clear it. And btw, I have already upgraded to 32GB as mentioned in my 1st post.
