Product: Pavilion dv7-1267cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I currently have 4GB of Ram and I like to expand it to 8GB or 16GB.  I used the tool from crucial.com says the ram card I currently have is 2x2GB DDR2-800 SODIMM. I'm assuming for the 4GB the card is 4GB DDR2-800 SODIMM

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

2 x 4 GB is the max.

 

You will find that DDR2 memory is very expensive in the 4 GB size.

 

Here is the link to the crucial memory report on your model notebook...

 

They don't even offer it in the 4 GB size because of the cost.

I found some 4 GB modules on this site...It ships from Hong Kong.
