hi tech masters

 

am using an old laptop with good stability ''hp compaq preserio c700'' for some basic works and i now like to upgrade my ram capacity. the laptops default hardaware is 120 gb hard disk,1gb ram, and intel celeron cpu and my question is

can i upgrade ram? if yes then what type of ram i should buy ? and how much maximum ram capacity i can insert ?

The PC supports max 2GB of DDRII PC2-5300 (667-MHz)  (2x1GB)

 

You can see various configurations and steps to upgrade RAM on page 7 and 43 of service manual

i found this ram on amazon by folllowing your information and i attchached the photo.  please let me know that ram type  is okay?
