hi is this ram compatible with my laptop hp bs004ne which has 4 gb ddr4 2133mhz as of now in my device

okay sorry...just wanted to confirm as that was 8 gb ram

also while installing the new 8 gb ram do i put that in the primary slot or the secondary slot?

does it make a difference in performance?

It doesn't make a difference which slot you install the 8 GB chip in.
