Hi there,


I recently bought a HP pavilion gaming laptop 15-ec2121nd and I want to upgrade my RAM from 8 GB to 16GB

 What kind of RAM does my device support and what  should I use for the upgrade?

Hi, Esmee:

 

Your notebook will support up to 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.

 

There is not an exact report for your notebook, but this model has the same processor series.

 

HP - Compaq Pavilion 15-ec2121nr | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com

 

Buy the DDR4-3200 8 GB or 16 GB memory chip with the green circuit board.

 

You can buy this memory at the Crucial.eu website by changing the country flag.

 

HP only has the service manual for the older models with the Ryzen 3xxx series processors, but it should help you with opening up the notebook to replace the memory.
