Hello sir/mam , i have a hp 205 g5 laptop which has 2 slot for RAM, there is DDR3 RAM in it's 1st slot which is of single channel. i want to know that whether dual or single channel RAM is used in it's 2nd slot. please give me suggestions.

@SHIGOTECH, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
This model Notebook only supports single-channel memory. It supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following conƭgurations:
● 8192-MB total system memory (8192×1) or (4096×2)
● 6144-MB total system memory (4096×1) + (2048×1)
● 4096-MB total system memory (4096×1) or (2048×2)
● 2048-MB total system memory (2048×1)
16384-MB total system memory (8192×2)
For more info, kindly refer to page 2 of the service guide.
