HI. Writing this on behalf of my dad. he got a new router with kcom ( hull broadband supplier) but this laptop will not connect i got the message 

REALTECK RTL8821CE 802-11PCLE ADAPTON

I brought laptop back to my home went online with it and updated everything even operating system to windows 11. Until i get back to my dads tomorrow i don't know if it will connect so wanted advice on the above message. Will it have updated that driver also if not where do i find it as tried everything and now am stumped.

Unfortunately, there is no telling what will happen since the wifi adapter is working at your house, I assume.

 

These are the latest W11 Wifi and bluetooth drivers for that model wifi adapter...

Hello @mik1943 .
Just to add that you can view the Windows update history by entering the following link in the URL of the browser you are using either Edge,Chrome: ms-settings:windowsupdate-history?activationSource=SMC-Article-12373.
Press enter / click Open Settings and check the Driver Updates section and you will be able to verify what has been updated.

 

Manually you can do the following:
Select Start> Settings >Windows update > update history.
