Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have purchased 32gb RAM kit

I have also read that crucial is recommended by hp.

My unit is under warranty.

i contacted hp and they are saying that it should be fitted by hp service center only. Service Center says that they will not fit non - hp products. Now what to do to so as my warranty doesn’t get void and Ram also be fitted in my hp laptop.

Well, they said what they have to say. Anyway, warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.
