Hello im looking to upgrade my RAM on my HP Notebook 17-by0062st I have SODIMM's that are 8GB 2Rx8 PC4-2133P and 8GB 1Rx8 PC4-3200AA. I wanted to double check if either one of these dimms are compatible with my system?

Hi:

You would want to try the second chip (8GB 1Rx8 PC4-3200AA).

The first one is too slow a speed (only 2133 MHz) for your notebook.

The second one will bridge from 3200 MHz to 2400 MHz to run at the maximum speed your notebook's processor can support.

Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the memory removal and replacement procedure.

Thank you! I was assuming that was going to be the case just wanted to double check!

You're very welcome.

If your notebook had something like an i5-7200U processor, the 2133 MHz memory would have been OK for that.
