I Just Want To ask That I want To Upgrade My Ram From 4gb To 8gb But I dont know which ram should I buy I have 4GB A-DATA Technology 1866MHz ram But in amazon there is ADATA AD4U2400J4G17-R 4GB 2400MHz DDR4 U-DIMM (Desktop) RAM.

So can I buy This Ram for my pc can I put this ram in my another slot because it is of 2400mhz and my current ram is of 1866mhz.

Can i mix these please help.??????

Yes, you would install a DDR4-2400 memory chip.

 

Use the Crucial memory site to find the compatible 4 GB memory chip for your PC.

 

Crucial IN | DRAM, Solid State Drive (SSD) & Memory Upgrades

 

You need to make sure your notebook has two memory slots.

 

It always helps us to provide better answers to your questions when you include the full model number or product number of your notebook.

You should be able to install the compatible Crucial memory chip along with the AData one.

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

HP 15 Laptop PC (AMD)* Model numbers: 15-bw0xxHP 15g Laptop PC* Model numbers: 15g-bx0xxHP 15q Lapto...

 

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

 

Notebooks with the A9-9420 processors have one memory slot, and the max memory the slot can support is 8 GB.

 

So, in order to upgrade the memory, you will need to replace the 4 GB memory chip with an 8 GB memory chip.

 

This would be a compatible DDR4 memory chip for your notebook...
