Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

i wonder if i could upgrade two different laptop model Ram from 8 to 16?

 

one of them is 2018 model "HP Pavilion 15cs2018nt" other one is 2023 model " "HP 15-fd0014nt(898G0EA)

 

i know that hp pavilion 15cs2018nt has 8 GB Ram and has an empty Ram slot.

 

hp 15-fd0014nt has also 8 GB Ram but i do not know if it has empty Ram slot?

Hello methefree.

Both these laptops can be upgraded to 16GB RAM with 2x8GB modules in dual channel mode (they both have two RAM slots each). The manual for the HP Pavilion 15-cs2018nt and the HP Laptop 15-fd0014nt (898G0EA) have all the necessary information. The first laptop can use DDR4-2400 or faster (max speed will still be 2400) and the second one DDR4-3200.
