Hi,
Max RAM for your notebook is 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x16GB) even if the service manual mentions 16GB.
There are two slots and at the moment you have one 4GB module and one empty slot. So, you could add a 4GB stick in the empty slot for a performance gain.
Example of RAM
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-15-bs146tu#MEMORYFilters
On page 50 of the service manual, you can see the steps to upgrade RAM
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257
Another upgrade you should consider is putting an M2 SATA3 SSD in the M2 slot in the notebook and installing the OS on it. This would give a great boost to everyday performance.
Example:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07864V6CK/ref=twister_B0797N5GWN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Before buying drive you should take a look if the physical slot is present (I believe it is), as sometimes notebooks that did not come with M2 slot are missing the physical slot on the motherboard,
On page 45 of the service manual, you can see the steps to remove the bottom cover to take a look.
M2 slot
So, if the slot is present you can install an M2 SATA3 drive of your desired capacity.
It is not possible to upgrade the graphics "card", as it is integrated on the motherboard (soldered) together with the graphics subsystem. The only way would be to replace the whole motherboard which will most likely cost the same as buying a new notebook with desired specs.
Hope it helps,
David
