This computer sometimes crash when I install or open some apps for work. I figured it needs a ram upgrade. Is this advisable and possible?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the manuals page for your notebook's model series.

 

HP 14-cf2000 Laptop PC series Manuals | HP® Customer Support

 

Unfortunately, the only maintenance and service guide HP has for your notebook is for the older 14-cf1xxx model series.

 

According to chapter 1 of the manual, if your notebook has an Intel Core processor, it has two memory slots and can support 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

Make sure you buy the right speed memory for your notebook.

 

The memory speeds listed in the manual may be too slow.
