Im going to upgrade my Ram from 8 to 16GB.  My question - Can I use unbuffered ram chips or do I use buffered?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Mike:

You use non-ECC unbuffered memory in your notebook.

Since the product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with 2 x 4 GB of memory, you will need to replace both memory chips to install 16 GB of memory.
