Hello! How can i find out any info about RAM voltage on my laptop? I want to change my 2*8Gb 3200 mHz CL22 RAM with 1.2 voltage to 2*16Gb 3200 mHz CL16 RAM with 1.35 voltage, but i have some doubt about compatibility. Does anybody know something about this?

If you want to do it right the first time, only install guaranteed compatible memory modules. Otherwise, finding memory modules with the latency and timings will be hit or miss. The 1.35v is correct for the SoDimm voltage.

See this web document at Crucial Memory .com. They do sell their products in the EU.  lotate the desired memory at the hyperlink below then you can order it from the Crucial Memory EU web page

Don't advice this link pls, it doesn't work correctly. Check this reviews https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bl2k16g32c16s4b/ct19206020

I need to know about my motherboard. Does it support 1.35 voltage for RAM?

So thx for try, but it was too useless.

Apparently you don't understand what Enrico was saying. HP laptops are notorious for being picky with ram. They do not like performance ram with timings tighter than what originally came with the laptop. How do I know? Because I ordered 32GB of performance ram for my laptop, and had to return it. I ordered vanilla Crucial ram just like Erico said above and it worked fine.

Of the 4 modules Crucial has listed as compatible for your laptop, the Ballistix is the one with tighter timings than the others. Ballistix is performance ram. That's the one you refer to with bad reviews.

Erico also answered your question about voltage. So do what you want, good luck getting whatever ram you think will work. We're telling you don't get performance ram. get ram with the same relaxed timings as the pair that you have and voltage that you have.

I understood him and this is his personal opinion, but i need confirmation of facts. Don't waste my time if you don't have it. He told about voltage on RAM and I knew this. But i want to know about compatibility with my motherboard/laptop...

Son, being uppity in a forum where volunteers try their best to help people out with their laptops is not the way to go.

You have the facts as we know them so do what you want. When it fails it's on you,
