Ram and Memory upgrade for HP Pavilion x360 convertible 14-dh1010tu

i'm looking to upgrade my Laptops storage and RAM capacity, but bit unsure of what must I buy.
From the recommendations i've received  by now, i'm planning to buy a new SATA 500gb sdd as i guess M2 sdd is already been installed in my lappy  of size 256gb ,  
along with a DDR4 16gb extension to an existing DDR4 8gb ram installed.
Will be it effecting the laptop anyhow that i must be aware of before doing so?

Ram and Memory ? RAM and memory are the same. You wish to upgrade RAM and STORAGE ? The specs of your machine is

1. RAM: It has  8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now, you can upgrade to

      (a) 16GB: add same existing RAM to slot 2

      (b) 32GB: Install 2 stick of compatible RAM such as  https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4sfra32a/ct18681007  (Ram will run at 2666MHz)

      or even 64GB using compatible RAM such as https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k32g4sfd832a/ct16260530 (RAM will run at 2666MHz)
