Pavilion dv7 4019sz
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone!

I've got a pavilion dv7 4019sz notebook and I want to upgrade the ram up to 16 GB. I found here a specification list and in it I read that pavilion dv7 with an intel processor is support 2x8 GB of ram but I found another list where I read only 2x4 GB of ram.

So what is the truth?

Also I want to take in an SSD and it supports maximum only 160 GB of SSD. Can I take in a bigger SSD?

Sorry for bad english, I not speak it very well.

Thanks for the answers.

You're very welcome.

1st gen Intel dual core processors have a max memory capability of 2 x 4 GB.

It is reported that the Intel 1st gen quad core processors can support 2 x 8 GB, but your notebook's processor definitely cannot.

Hi:

I can't find any specs on your notebook.

What model Intel processor does it have?

SSD...you should be able to install a SSD up to 1 TB...maybe even 2 TB.

The 160 GB SSD is all that HP offered in the model series.

9 or 10 years ago when your notebook was manufactured, a 160 GB SSD would have been very expensive.
