I have a system board 832A 23.77 in a laptop product # 1TJ84UA#ABA
I'm looking to the most ram I can put in and the max HDD size and if there is a m.2 slot for a ssd.

The 15-bs notebooks with the Intel 6th, 7th and 8th gen core processors have a M.2 slot that supports M.2 SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't install up to a 2 TB SATA 2.5" or M.2 SATA SSD.

Your machine has an Intel Core processor therefore

 

  1. RAM: You can upgrade to 16GB (2x8GB) using compatible RAM such as Crucial 16GB RAM kit (note system may only run at 2133MHz)
  2. STORAGE: as mentioned on page 3 of the manual, It supports dual storage option with M2. SATA SSD + 2.5"SATA HDD (or SSD). You can add up to 2TB to M.2 slot using standard M.2 SASA SSD such as Samsung 860 M.2 SATA SSD
