I bought a new laptop in August and I want to upgrade my ram. How do I know about my product's expandable RAM memory?

Hi,

The service manual mentions max 16GB of DDR4 2400Mhz RAM (2x8GB)

However HP DDR4 sytems will run with 32GB of RAM (2x16GB), so that would be the actual max.

At the moment you have one stick of 8GB and one empty slot. So you could add another 8GB (or more) in the empty slot. On page 45 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:

Let me know if you need further help,

David
