Pro Book 450G2

Hello all,

Ok I have an old laptop that no longer works and I was thinking of taking one of the Ram sticks out of it and putting it into my HP.. I do believe they are the same ram only thing different is the one from the old computer is 2GB and the one already installed is 4GB. I will keep the 4GB one just thinking of installing the 2GB one in....

Second part:

Im sure it has stuff on it already from my old computer, what will need to be dont to "flash" or erase the Ram?

Thank You

   Dan

Hi dkishton1486,

When a computer is turned off or is restarted, the RAM is automatically cleared.

Hope this helps,
