Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wanted some clarification regarding the type of ram on the envy x360 . Is the onboard ram dual or single channel as the spec sheet only mentions that there is a single 8 gigabyte memory stick .

Thanks

Hello, in effet you have in factory 8 gigabytes of RAM:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-13-ar0000-x360-convertible-pc/26084836/model/32796785/d...

It is mentioned "onboard", si I am sorry but it is probably soldered.. If you want, you can check your service and maintenance guide:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06262637

You can see any mention to add more RAM, so unfortunately you can't in this model..

If I have been answer to your question please accept it as a solution 🙂

@Archith1

Its specs

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06503615

which shows it has one piece

   8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (onboard)

Therefore it runs as single channel memory. You can check yourself using CPU-Z

Regards.
