Pavilion dv9700
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need help.

So if you dont know, i have HP Pavilion dv9700 Notebook (well some people who watch probably know it) with installed Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and im running with 4GB of RAM.

So, my friend thinks that only 4GB RAM can take this thing but he probably don't understand the architecture which only 32-bits have max 4GB Ram but 64-bit can take more than 4GB.

Also i see a page here (on hp page) and i see about the max amount of RAM and show me the OS and max of RAM with 32-bit and 64-bit.

So my question: Can i take longer than 4GB RAM since i have 64-bit. If yes, is still available in my country (Greece) or some where else? (im thinking to get 16GB RAM)

Hello @PokoKirby9420

Your PC can only support max 4GB RAM

Memory 2 SODIMM slots and Customer-accessible/upgradable

PC2-5300, 667-MHz, DDR2

Dual-channel support

Supports up to 4096 MB(4GB) of system memory

● 2048-MB total system
memory (1024 MB × 2)

● 1024-MB total system
memory (1024 MB × 1)

It not the only the operating system, the SYSTEM architecture will not support more than 4GB.
