Ram upgradation Enquiry.

Want to take out preinstall 4 gb ram and install hyperx  HX424S14IBK2/32. Will my laptop supports this upgradation.

The specs of your machine is

It has  4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB) now. You can upgrade to 8GB, 16GB or 32GB using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2400MHz)

   (a)  8GB: add same 4GB to slot 2 or using

   (b) 16GB: install 8GB each to both slots using

I am aware that crucial(micron) has ram advisor tool and have seen all compatible RAMs there but i want lowest to lowest latency as possible. You kindly just reply that 

HX424S14IBK2 32

is compatible with my laptop or not.

I have also read that crucial is recommended by hp.

My unit is under warranty.

i contacted hp and they are saying that it should be fitted by hp service center only. Service Center says that they will not fit non - hp products. Now what to do to so as my warranty doesn’t get void and Ram also be fitted in my hp laptop.

hp 15-db1061 support maximum of 16gb ram.

It is the manual of 15 series laptop and clearly mentions that this model supports 16gb max.

Due to crucial commitment and your reply I ordered wrong 32gb kit(BL2K16G26C16S4B ). 

I came to know about my laptop's limitation of 16gb when I contacted hardware engineer to fit my ordered Ram and he sent me the HP manual link for my laptop.

Now I don't know what to do with this 32gb RAM Kit.

please get manuals corrected on HP servers.
