Hp pavilion X360 14ba073tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

What is the maximum RAM I can use in my hp ba073tx laptop? I know similar thread is already posted but in the answer is not specific with this model. Can I upgrade this specific model into a 32 gb ram (16 x 2)?

Can I use 3200 mhz RAM?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06172090, this Notebook supports only up to 12 GB Ram

Thank you

OK I understand. So can I use Crucial 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM and Crucial 4GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM in my laptop?

one more thing. In service manual most of the SSD is TLC type. Can I use Samsung QVO QLC type 2.5 inch SATA SSD?

@Atanu4

Comparing QLC with TLC, the storage density of QLC increase 33% with each cell can save 4 bit data. Besides, the write cycle of QLC could reach 1000 times, which is equal even better than TLC. So it should work but HP cannot guarantee the functionality, since the Notebook was only tested with TLC type SSDs. 😉
