HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab157nr

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab157nr and I would like to increase its ram to the maximum, which is 16gb, but I am not sure if the ram cards have to be DDR3 at 1600Mhz or if I can use DDR4 with 2400Mhz. I also wanted to know if I can buy a single 16gb card instead of 2x8gb cards.

Its specs:

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04756541

It ONLY supports DDR3 or DDR3L RAM. It has  8GB DDR3L SDRAM (1 DIMM) now. You can add SAME 8gb to slot 2 to have 16GB max.OR using the following compatible RAM
