Pavilion Gaming15-ec0000na

Hello, looking for some help please, as I am far from an expert!

Looking to upgrade the RAM in the above listed laptop. It currently has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) (from manufacturer spec).

Am looking to upgrade to 16GB 2x8, could someone help and advise what exactly I should be looking to buy brand wise.  A precise spec would help me loads as I am a little lost at all the choice.

Thank you.

@SteveP108 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to upgrade the memory.

Do not worry. I will help you in this matter.

Your laptop Supports up to 32 GB maximum system memory in the following conƭgurations

 ● 16 GB (16 GB × 1 or 8 GB × 2)

● 12 GB (8 GB × 1 + 4 GB × 1)

● 8 GB (8 GB × 1 or 4 GB × 2)

You can check the manual ( page number 1) as well.

As you have stated that you can go ahead and upgrade the 2x 8GB ram.

You could purchase the part from HP, use the HP Parts surfer to identify the part: http://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx

And order it via the HP Parts store: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/CountryChoice.aspx?mscssid=&ccode=ZZ&lcode=ZZ

Or alternatively, Contact HP for setting up an order/service via phone support
