Ram upgrade for 14-dh1180tu

Is it possible to upgrade hp pavilion X360 14-dh1180tu ram? It comes with only 8 GB on ram and only one slot. Can user change it to 16 GB without loosing warranty?

It has  8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now. You can upgrade to

   (a) 16GB: install same existing RAM to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM

   (b) 32GB: install 16GB each to both slots using the following compatible RAM  (will run at 2666MHz)

   (c) 64GB: install  32GB each to both slots using the following compatible RAM  (will run at 2666MHz)

 Warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines adding something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.

It has Intel Gen 10 processor/CPU and you can also use the following manual (page 1).
