Hello can any one help me.
I have a envy 15-w000ni.
A friend gave me and it had only a 2g ram in it.
I want to add maybe a 16g X 2 or if it can't maybe 2 X 8g.
The 1 alot says 40r LTK which I don't understand
The second slot says ddr std 1.5v.
I tried adding a 2g in the other slot and it didn't show that I have 4g.
So I'm confused.
Please help

Gi:
Chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual indicates the notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 (1.35V) memory.
DDR3 1.5V memory is not supported in your notebook, regardless of what the memory slot indicates.

You're very welcome.
That is the service manual that HP has linked to your notebook's model series. It should be the right one.

Hi
You need to buy a SODIMM (laptop memory).
UDIMM is for most standard size desktop PC's and would not fit in your notebook.
