Hi , I bought this HP 15-au105TX (i7-7500,4GB,1TB,NV 2GB,15.6'',W10,RED) , 5 months ago this this year .
I would like to upgrade the DDR4 ram frm 4gb to 8gb . ... to increase the memory ... Can i use ddr4 ram 2400mhz ? or only 2133mhz for my this notebook ?
This notebook is not like the old type which is easy to dismantle only for adding ram . How to dismantle the only ram slot for adding in the new 8gb ram together with the old 4gb ram .?
As I can see , behind is the notebook there is no cover for only dismantle the ram section for the laptop ...
Can I use ddr4 8gb together with 4gb in slot 1 n slot 2 ?
Please advise . Thank You .

Here's the Manual:
Memory Two SODIMM slots - customer non-accessible/non-upgradeable DDR4-2133 Dual Channel Support (DDR4-2400 bridge to DDR4–2133) Supports up to 16GB max system memory
So yes, it can use DDR4-2400 but will downclock to 2133 speed.
How to starts on p. 29. Flip it over and remove the back cover. Memory slots are exposed when you do this:
4 GB 2133 MHz 1.2v DDR4 shared 820569-005 8 GB 2133 MHz 1.2v DDR4 shared 820570-005
So you can add a 4 gig or an 8 gig to have 8 or 12 gigs or install a pair of 8 gigs to get to 16 gigs total.
Here is a matching 4 gig module for a very good price on ebay:
It is preferable to have an identical pair of modules so the memory runs in dual channel mode.
