HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9Y1AV)

i have a HP Laptop 15s-fq5295nia with 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U CPU right now it is running ddr4 3200
can i upgrade it to ddr5 and if yes which speed is compatible 4800 or 5200?

A DDR4 module has a slot in a different place than a DDR5 module.

 

That means that a DDR5 memory module will not physically fit in a soDIMM slot meant for a DDR4 module.

The memory module slot must match the module.

That is a no.

 

If your laptop has DDR4 it will not physically allow the installation of DDR5 memory modules.

The soDIMM slots are not the same for DDR4 and DDR5.
