I have a hp notebook - 15-ay019tu currently using windows 10 pro
i have a little confusion on ram upgrading
currently my ram memory is 4g
can i add a ram stick sized 8gb with 1866mhz?
how much i could actually upgrade my ram?
and can i add a different frequency ram?

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook...
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hP---Compaq/hp-15-ay019tu
You can install up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.
If you have an 8 GB DDR3L-1866 MHz memory chip, that will also work, but it will bridge to 1600 MHz because that is the fastest speed your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
