Hate to wade in but there is no such thing as DDR4-1600. This is a complicated question however, because this is an AMD machine and it runs the memory at 1866 mhz but there is also no such a thing as DDR4-1866.
Problem is that is not the right manual. This is a much newer machine than reflected in that manual. A6-9220 APU
DDR4-1866 dual channel support (DDR4-2400 bridge to DDR4-1866)
So you should and must use DDR4-2400 and the system will downclock it to run at 1866 speed.

Hello,
I did some research online and based on what I found, you need RAM chip of DDR4-1600 type
You can get one module of 4 GB and add it to your existing configuration (you will end up with 2x4 = 8 GB)
or
You can get one of 8 GB and remove the existing one
How to do it, please in the manual, page 29/39 >> http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04763999
Memory can be purchased from any reputable tech repair shop or online

I would not mix 1600 and 2400 - may cause issues, unbootable PC, Blue Screen of Death, etc.
If your current one is 1600 , your additional needs to be 1600, as well.
You can double check what your existing one is by using the free trial version of AIDA64 >> https://www.aida64.com/downloads/MTZlYWEwZTM=
If nothing is available on Amazon, check elsewhere, too.

Thank you for stepping in. It looks like I checked a wrong manual. My fault.
