In my laptop there is a 4gb ram in slot one,and I want to add another ram in slot 2 ,in task manager it showing speed 2133mhz ,but this ram is not available can I add 2400 mhz or 2666 mhz ram please help

Hi:

 

Yes, you can install a DDR4-2400 or 2666 MHz memory chip in your notebook.

 

The faster speed memory will bridge to 2133 MHz to match the maximum speed the processor can run the memory at, which is 2133 MHz.

 

Your notebook can take up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.
