Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

Your notebook's memory is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

 

If you look at chapter 3 of the manual, different motherboards are used for the models that come with 8 GB of onboard memory or 16 GB of onboard memory.
