Hello,
I cannot find full ram specifications for my HP 14-dq2031tg. It has 4gn ram and i want to buy same 4gb ram for upgrade.
I know it is 2666mhz but do not know what voltage, what is Sodimm or etc.
I looked up support page of HP could not find these details.
Where can i find these?
(Small questions, is 8gb enough? i can add 4gb from same or i should replace it 2x8Gb ram) Considering price/performance which is better? I will use for general use sometimes visualization tool like tableau or etc.
Thank you.

Hi:
Unfortunately, HP only has the service manual for the older model series with the Intel 8th gen core processors.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP 14 Laptop PC
According to chapter 1 of the manual, the notebook has two memory slots and can support up to 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2666 MHz memory.
Since the system requirements for W11 indicate a 4 GB memory minimum. I recommend you install 2 x 8 GB of memory to ensure your notebook has enough memory for today's and tomorrow's requirements.
I recommend buying Crucial memory since they guarantee compatibility.
This is the 8 GB memory chip they recommend for your notebook:

You're very welcome.
Yes, that is the right memory part number according to the Crucial report.
Your notebook supports M.2 2280 NVMe SSD's so the Samsung 970 should work fine.
I'm surprised it came with a SATA M.2 SSD and not a NVMe one.

Hi:
The Samsung 970 NVMe SSD should work at its maximum advertised speed in your new notebook.
If there is a reason you want to install a slower performing SATA SSD, then I recommend this model, but if it were me, I would be installing the Samsung NVMe SSD you have.
Other NVMe SSD's I recommend are these if you don't want to remove the Samsung 970 from your other PC:

Thank you. Now i understand.
it has sata ssd but i supports nvme ssd.
Does it support 2280 ssd? It has 2230 i think. Long ssd should not be problem yes?
i ordered rams thank you. I bought this pc second hand. Do you know where can find original battery? On ebay i think they are branded batteries. I want original or are branded bateries good?

You're very welcome.
The only M.2 2230 device your notebook has is the Wi-Fi adapter.
M.2 SSD possibilities are 2242, 2260 & 2280.
Google the M.2 SSD part numbers you see listed in chapter 3 of the service manual and you will see that they are 2280.
For example: L61960-001 -- 512 GB, PCIe, value
HP L61960-001 - 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive - Drive Solutions

You're very welcome.
Chapter 3, page 16 of the service manual indicates that you need this battery part number:
Battery (3 cell, 41 Wh) L11119-855
What I recommend you do is to do a search by the HP battery part number and find a compatible aftermarket battery on Amazon, eBay or any reputable reseller.
HP sells the battery in certain countries, but not yours.
I think you have to live in the country that is supported by the HP parts store.
