Microsoft Windows 11

I am using 4gb ram in my laptop. Though it has dual slot. My laptop works very slowly.Even I have not installed larger application. Iwant to upgrade my ram. I want to add 8gb ram in the other slot. I know sometimes it is said that different size of ram may occur issue in dual charging performance. My question is if I add 8gb ram with my existing 4gb ram.Can I get better performance if would use only 4gb ram? Consider I am not worried about dual channel performance. I only want to improve my working performance. If is it work please tell me. I will try to maintain another quality as identical except ram size.

More RAM will reduce paging/swapping to speed it up therefore you can run your machine with12GB (4GB + 8GB

Regards.)
