HP Notebook - 15-da2022tx
Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop model 15-DA2022TX. It have 2 slots for Ram, both have 4GB DDR4 each. I want to upgrade it as its capacity is of 32GB.

Suggest me what do I do? Like, do I upgrade it by changing 1 Slot from 4 to 16GB ?

3200 Mhz modules are fine.

The BIOS will downgrade them to 2666 Mhz if it needs to.

You could upgrade that way if you remove the other 4GB module.

Put the 16GB module in the slot closest to the processor.

Do I remove both Rams of 4GB, and put 16GB or remove only 1 and put 16GB in that slot.
kindly, clear it as I am confused. These 4GB Rams are of DDR4 with 2666MHz frequency.

Yes. Remove both 4GB modules.

Is it not compatible to use 16GB plus 4GB.....? Like, if both have same frequency.

HP Recommended

Doing that may work or not.

For that reason it is better to use a pair of identical compatible modules or a single compatible module.
