@RanWat1969,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP ENVY x360 - 15-bp152wm (4AL79UA) according to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06267280.pdf, has two RAM slots and can be fitted with DDR4 PC4-21300, 2666 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, 1.2V, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM:

However, according to several sources, only one RAM slot is supposedly upgradable whilst the other RAM slot contains 4GB (8GB?) of soldered "non-removable" RAM: https://www.memorystock.com/memory/HewlettPackardENVYx36015bp152wm.html, and: https://www.phs-memory.com/computer-ram/hp/envy-x360/15-bp150/envy-x360-15-bp152wm.html.

You should check that yourself, look under the hood, so to speak.

Another point of uncertainty is that some sources say that this laptop's max RAM is 24GB, whilst other sources claim it is 36GB.

One thing is for sure: it will accept/is compatible with a Crucial 16GB Single DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) DR X8 SODIMM 260-Pin RAM stick, with p/n: CT16G4SFD8266.

You can get it here, for example: https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-DDR4-Laptop-Memory-CT8G4SFRA266/dp/B071KP8CGJ/ref=psdc_172500_t1_B07D....

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
