You will probably be informed that you will need to replace the drive.
Your notebook came with a 1 TB 2.5" mechanical hard drive.
You have two options to upgrade the slow mechanical drive:
1. You can install a 2.6" SARA solid state drive (SSD).
A recommended replacement:
2. Another option would be to replace the failed drive with an even better performing M.2 NVMe SSD, since chapter 1 of the service manual indicates those drives are supported.

A recommended M.2 SSD:
If you don't need 1 GB of storage, you can install a smaller capacity drive.
You will have to reinstall Windows on either drive.
