Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15m-es1000 (446V8AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

On a random basis, the mouse will start to move erratically and apps and websites will open and close. I have updated all drivees, BIOS, etc. and have deleted the Windows 11, 64 bit partition and  completely reinstalled Windows  with the same result. I have removed older apps that migjht be causing some incompatibility. In desperation I installed Ubuntu as a dual boot option. The same beahvior is happening there, too. So it seems to me to be hardware related. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Purchased November of 2021, out of warranty.
