HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G11 Mobile Workstation PC (8K0G4AV)

I am experiencing an issue with my HP ZBook Firefly 14-inch G11 where the battery is draining unusually fast. Even with minimal usage, the battery life is significantly shorter than expected. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps but the issue persists:

  1. Power Settings: Adjusted the power settings to "Power Saver" mode.

  2. Background Applications: Closed unnecessary background applications to reduce power consumption.

  3. Driver Updates: Ensured that all drivers, especially the BIOS and chipset drivers, are up to date.

  4. Battery Health: Checked the battery health using HP Support Assistant, and it shows the battery is in good condition.

  5. System Updates: Installed the latest Windows updates and HP software updates.

Despite these efforts, the battery continues to drain quickly withing a hour and I laptop is still under warranty. Could you please provide any additional troubleshooting steps or advise if this might be a hardware issue that requires service?

I suggest using the Windows Battery-Report to see the actual status of the battery as compared to what it was when new.
