Can i upgrade my laptop ram and if yes What ram sticks should i buy

Hi paul , i have an Pavilion 15-cs3xxx

product name :  8AY86EA#UUZ

i can't find any info about maximum ram i can put in actually i have 16 gb in and i bought another 16gb ram to have complete 32gb , https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/dram/module/M471A2K43CB1-CTD/////   do you think it will be compatible with my laptop ?

Hi:

In your model you can actually go as high as 2 x 32 GB of memory, but that would be very expensive.

The memory chip you bought meets the specs, so hopefully it will work.

If not, this would be the compatible 16 GB Crucial memory chip for your model...

Below is the link to the service manual which should help you get inside the notebook to install the memory.

It is for the 15-cs2000 model series but the procedure for opening the notebook hopefully will be the same for your model.

There is no manual yet for the cs3000 series.

and i bought this samsung model because the original ram is also a samsung one so better put in his sister for best chance of comptability
