Has there been any changes to support this?. We have HP Elitebook 840 G4 and would like to use - HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2-United Kingdom Product number: 2UK37AA or similar?

The 840 G5 series contains a Thunderbolt port.  The 840 G4 series does not support Thunderbolt.  The USB-C port on the 840 G4 series system supports data transfer (up to 5 Gbps) and power out (15 w).

Is there anything else to support what we need? Our customers do not want to keep unplugging cables? the current Ultraslim docks only support 2 DP connections, and a vga port which is of no use? we need to setup a third moniotr or tv with hdmi connection? 

  1. 840 G4 with
  2. A)3 displays (Not VGA)
  3. B)2 displays + TV
