I also have a broken left hinge on HP Envy x360and unable to open or close out of fear the screen will crack. I have made multitudes of phone calls to customer service with no resolve. One representative claims the hinge is out of stock, another questioned if I did something to the laptop that caused the hinge to break. I've escalated it and the recommendation is to get a discount for the purchase of another HP laptop!
I am frustrated and extremely disappointed. What is HP doing for consumers who believed and as such purchased the HP Envy x360 but now is defective?

I also have an HP Envy with a left broken hinge. It is astonishing HP does not have a recall on these laptops! At the very least it would be nice to have an HP representative reach out to provide us with options.
HP Support I would like someone to assist me, I am not able to shut my laptop as I fear it would break my screen.
Thanks.

Hi,
I have tried communicating with someone about the same exact issue with no resolve for months! Consumers have to pay out of pocket to fix an issue that is a manufacture defect. It is so very disappointing.
