How to check manufacturer date of HP laptop

how could i can check date of manufacturing. And can i check about its purchasing date also..

i think some have it in the BIOS or at least the Warrenty Start Date is there and that is usually close to the manufacture date.

What is the 4th, 5th and 6th numbers of your serial number???  "xxx456xxxx only "

If you have not found it out yet here is how to determine the year and week.

CC = Country of manufacture

S = Site Code in that country

123= Year and Week

ZZZZ= Unique identifier for product built within the date of manufacture

S/N CCS123ZZZZ

4th number = The year

5th&6th numbers = The week of The year.
