I also have same doubt .

I am having HP pavilion laptop, it also has exhaust at same place.

I dont know why they kept the exhaust near screen.

Due to exhaust near screen it may cause harm to screen in long run. and also when playing games the laptop get very much heat , the heat goes to the screen.

most laptops has exhaust at the sides.

What model is this? How do you propose we help with this? I am sure the laptop designers would not knowingly design it to degrade the screen over time. I had a Spectre 13-v "world's thinnest" for 2 and a half years and passed it down to an employee who still uses it and the vents exhausted right under the screen. It is still one of the better laptop screens I have ever seen in terms of appearance.

Thank you so much for your response to my question.

Thank you so much for your precious time and attention towards my question.

My model is  HP Pavilion - 15-cc129tx

I know that i can't get any help about this , the designer may not have knowingly design it to degrade the screen , but the result is  "screen is getting hot  due to heat ".

I don't have technical knowledge but the simple thing i know  is 'heating can harm the screen'

I think problems comes before appearance.

I just want to know why such a big company is giving appearance more preference than the other problems.

I think 'Customer satisfaction' should be the preferred choice than appearance.

I value your feedback, so let me know what you think!

You don't have technical knowledge so I am unclear why you want to challenge the design decision when you have not even had problems yet. I think the appearance is the same whether the vents are under the screen or out the side. The laptop is designed as an integrated unit and the airflow is calculated using engineering simulators. As I said unless you could design a laptop, and unless you are actually having a problem with your screen caused by heat from the vent, why are we even discussing hypothetical issues that will never arise? You asked what I think and that's it. Good luck.
