Hi Paul_Tikkanen
I have posted a similar question on maximum memory capacity for the ProBook 450 G4.
I also checked on the Crucial site where it says This part is 100% compatible with ProBook 450 G4 and maximum memory 32GB is specified. (https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct16g4sfd824a/ct9506474)
Here you refer to the manual for the HP Pavillion and states that it unfortunately is not updated.
Banhien answered my post and refered to "...page 2 of the manual..." (I can't see which manual he is refering to though...)
BUT could it be, that this manual unfortunately also is not updated.
Could it be that the ProBook 450 G4 can utilize 32GB RAM? (ie. 2 * 16GB)
(see my post here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-ProBook-450-G4-memory-confi... )

Hi:
The manual for the 14-Ce3520na is completely different for the 450 G4 and it only has one memory slot and that model has an Intel 10th gen core processor.
The 'non customer-accessible/non-upgradable' notation in the other manual means that HP prefers the work be done by an authorized service center. Further in the manual in chapter 5, is the procedure to remove and replace the memory.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05270979
HP indicates the max is 2 x 8 GB.
Crucial indicates the max is 2 x 16 GB.

Usually the Crucial memory report is correct in these matters, but if you are in doubt, put one toe in the water, and don't jump in with both feet.
Buy one 16 GB chip and add it to the existing one. If the notebook works correctly and reports the correct memory total, then you can go the distance and buy the second 16 GB memory chip.
