i got this laptop about 2 yrs ago...
HP 17by3065st Intel i5 8GB Memory 128GB SSD 1TB Hard Drive
wifi 6 card already installed. (802.11ax )
I want to upgrade it to the WiFi 6e card and from what i can read, it's gotta be an M.2 wifi card because CNVio2 wont be supported. So that rules out me getting the intel AX411card or the intel AX211 card i think?
will the intel AX210 wifi 6e be okay to install since it's an M.2 card going into an M.2 slot ? i see nothing on intel's site that lists CNVio2 as a specification on this particular wifi card,

Hi:
According to the parts list for your notebook it comes with an Intel AX201, which is a CRF (CNVio2) card.
M.2 is the form factor of the card.
So it is possible that the Intel AX211 would work.
Specs on the AX201...
We have no info on anyone that tried to upgrade the wifi card in the 17-by3xxx model series, so anything you try would be an experiment.
Just make sure you get an AX card that is non-vPro because the vPro cards are only supported in the higher end HP business class notebooks and mobile workstations.
