My old HP G72-B60US computer originally was for Windows 7, and now is upgraded to Win10 Home 64-bit.
The HP manual says max RAM limit is 8GB. Is this 8GB limit because . . .
(a) 8GB RAM was the limit supported by Windows 7 64-bit ?
(b) Or is there a limitation to 8GB max RAM in the BIOS or some other hardware limitation?
I'd like to replace the current 4GB of RAM with 16GB (2x8) if the computer can make use of it. The W10 OS certainly can.
