Hi,

I used the utility you attached and RAM installed in this notebook is Samsung DDR4-2666 / PC4-21300 DDR4 SDRAM SO-DIMM

I have 2 main questions

1.  I would like add additional 8gb RAM. But I have confusion to go with whether Crucial DDR4-2400 or DDR4-2666 because it Task manager it shows speed 2400 MHz so.

2. Or whether to go with same capacity and frequency RAM which came with pre installed for performance and dual channel config?

Hi:

Unless you can find the same Samsung memory chip your notebook has now, go with the Crucial DDR4-2666 MHz memory,

The memory will run in dual channel mode since it is the same capacity as the original one...8 GB.

Dual channel mode is achieved by installing memory of matching capacities (2 x 2 GB, 2 x 4 GB, 2 x 8 GB...).

It doesn't matter who makes it.

Thank a lot for the suggestion.

Can you please provide service manual document to insert the RAM into the laptop cause I am doing on my own so.

You're very welcome.

I can't find the service manual for your notebook anywhere.

But, here is a video library for the model series that will help you open it up and remove and replace the memory.
